Did a drive past Saturday with a couple of friends from the local BMW club... well, husband and wife team so 2 people but alas just 1 car... so, I spent that day chasing an Interlagos Blue BMW E86 Z4 M Coupe.
We did a route that centered around !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and here are the pics and vids. Since I have enough pictures of my car, I mostly concentrated on covering the BMW.
First, I met up with them in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! :
Then, we slogged through the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to arrive at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , where we topped our tanks and I set up the GoPro.

Again, we ran into the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but then I was able to get close enough for some close-up footage of the Z4MC on the move:

...which, so far, is the same as what I did when I “broke in” my new exhaust:

...and an infamous “single-file” stretch due to the unstable slope:
Despite all that, though, and probably BECAUSE of all that, the route is sparsely travelled... and they recently repaved it to boot. So lots of fun were had on it, and it was definitely the highlight of the trip. We even had a big-horned sheep cross the road right in front of us... after we slowed down to give it the room, of course... DODGE-ing the RAM, so to speak :-D

I knew that there is a small parking lot right on the lake side, and I have stopped there once myself... but when the BMW Club comes through we never stop there due to parking logistics for such a big group. So, for my companions, despite passing by so many times, they were never able to do this... until now:

Some beautiful scenery! But man that is a damn straight road haha. Seems like it would be wayyy too easy to end up exccessively speeding in some parts. Definitely have to check out BC some day though, those mountains look awesome.

Tacking on some solid miles, great set of cars! I’m partial to that Z4MC (identical to my own...)
